Folded & Hung, Marvel and the ultimate alliance
MANILA, Philippines - Admittedly, I am the biggest fan of The X-Men. I’ve been reading the comics religiously since high school, especially during the glory days of Grant Morrison’s run of New X-Men. My love for these so-called “Children of the Atom” has since expanded into an appreciation of all things Marvel — from The Avengers, to the enigmatic Heroes for Hire, to anything a “true believer” can get his greedy hands upon.
You could just imagine my nerdy boy excitement as I recently attended the launch of Folded & Hung’s Marvel Comics accessories and apparel line, which saw classic everyday wear being adorned with the likes of Wolverine, Phoenix and even Magneto.

Among those who attended the event were brand ambassadors Enrique Gil, Elmo Magalona, JM de Guzman, Alden Richards, and JC Tiuseco as well Folded & Hung owner Ronald Pineda, Divine Lee, Robi Domingo, Pia Magalona, Simon Atkins and Marlon Stockinger.
With a second batch of Folded & Hung Marvel Extreme shirts slated for an October release, promising to be edgier, urban and more dynamic, there couldn’t have been a better time to utter those three iconic words: “Make mine Marvel.”
