A refresher to Hogwarts and beyond
MANILA, Philippines - In the last installment of Harry Potter, we follow the trio as they attempt to save the wizarding world from Lord Voldemort’s reign of terror. Millions of people have been anticipating seeing the culmination of this epic battle between good and evil on the big screen, and it doesn’t seem like it will disappoint.
Picking up from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I, Harry, Ron, and Hermione come face to face with a decision after finding out the story behind the Deathly Hallows. Should they seek the Hallows or continue on their quest to find and destroy Lord Voldemort’s remaining Horcruxes?
The last film left us with a lot of twists and turns, as well as many character deaths, ending with a particularly wrenching one. Part II picks up from this point and the Trio progresses on their mission, despite the lack of clues and the odds stacking up against them. Voldemort has procured the Elder Wand, one of the Hallows, and is thus one step closer to achieving the status of the most powerful wizard. Revealed as the secret to his immortality, the Horcruxes must also be destroyed before Harry can attempt to get rid of Voldemort once and for all.
It’s a race against time as Voldemort gains power. Harry, Ron and Hermione are away from Hogwarts, but Dumbledore’s Army has been fighting the good fight within the castle. The Order of the Phoenix remains steadfast in their opposition against him, as Voldemort’s following grows stronger.
The final story has been set up by Deathly Hallows Part I, so the climax is sure to be filled with action and adventure. Many truths will be revealed as this final chapter comes to a close. Watch in nail-biting anticipation as the battle between good and evil culminates in a showdown between The Boy Who Lived and the most feared wizard of this generation.
