MANILA, Philippines - This one’s for all of you culture fanatics. Travelife Magazine, in cooperation with the Embassy of India, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations and Dusit Thani Manila, is presenting Travelife India Night, a wonderful evening of gourmet Indian food followed by a private concert of world-class Indian music. This is the first in a series of unique evenings focusing on food and culture under the Travelife Experiences brand.
Dusit Thani Manila Chef Naushad Alam serves a five-course Indian degustation meal while Ambassador Yogendra Kumar, Indian ambassador to the Philippines, will speak about India and answer questions tonight at the Dusit Thani. Registration starts at 6 p.m.
As a finale, there will be a special private concert for Travelife guests by India’s top classical artists, headed by top sitarist Zunain Khan, son of the legendary sitarist Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan, and Abhijit Roychoudhury, one of India’s most prominent sarod artists.
