'Chalk' is havin' a ball!
MANILA, Philippines - It’s everyone’s game this month, Chalk magazine’s taking its readers courtside for another high-intensity season of college ball. On the cover of its July issue are high- livin’ ballers Jens Knuttel of Far Eastern University (FEU), Paul Zamar of University of the East (UE) and Clark Bautista of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) — all discussing how they plan to shoot for the stars and get their teams to the Final Four. Also talking a lot of good game are NCAA dudes Nate Matute (Jose Rizal University), Mapua’s Jonathan Banal, and Letran’s Kevin Alas.
Not to be outdone, however, are the lady athletes such as Ateneo volleybelle Asia Urquico, the UP Pep Squad’s Pauline del Rosario, and Ateneo track star Ally Lim putting on not just their game face but bringing the beauty to their respective realms of sport, as well. And for a little more sporty spice, Chalk got a few confessions from athletes’ girlfriends — just ‘cause it’s complicated dating a player; er, well, you know what we mean.
