Spring Equinox Cornucopia- Twinkle*Ferraren's S/S Collection 2010 served vegetarian style

MANILA, Philippines - Scene: Slow-talking yet stylishly hip hippies stand around admiring the pineapple fiber-blended summer loungewear of designer Twinkle Ferraren, who’s been a pesco-lacto vegetarian for nine years. The newly opened “healthy alternatives café”, Quantum Café along Kamagong cor. Bagtikan St. in Makati, was a fitting venue. 

Sights: Pieces made in collaboration with Pina went well with swim-and-loungewear with plant stem cell patterns, mesh blends, and convertible suits. Also, cover-ups with woven paper thread and sweaters and men’s board shorts with a lot of leaf-vein inspiration going on. Makes sense, then, that everyone got their grub from a “free-flowing hydroponics salad bar” by chef saladier Toby Reyes.

Sounds: Electronica-infused tribal ethnic music from Banda Sanderiana, Nyko Maca, DJ Madz Abubakar.
