Timbaland, Timberlake and Jojo at Mall of Asia
MANILA, Philippines - All Youth Channels (AYC) recently announced that super-producer Timbaland will perform on March 27 at SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds — and he’s bringing in special guests Justin Timberlake and Jojo.
The benefit concert, presented by Smart Buddy, is part of Timbaland’s “Shock Value II Tour.” All net proceeds of the concert will be donated to the PLDT Smart Foundation. This would definitely be the most anticipated concert this 2010.
The two-time Grammy Award winner Timbaland has stamped his indelible imprint on the music scene since the mid-1990s. His production has helped create career-defining hits for artists such as Jodeci, Aaliyah, Ginuwine, Missy Elliott, Destiny’s Child, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, among many others. Respected beyond the genres of urban and hip-hop music, Timbaland, whose musical influences cross cultural lines, has also been sought by diverse superstars whose music similarly knows no boundaries, from pop star Justin Timberlake to Bjork.
Both Justin and Jojo have collaborated with Timbaland for the “Shock Value II” album.
Justin Timberlake came to fame as a member of the pop group, ‘N Sync, and, through a successful solo career, has gone on to win six Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award and dozens of accolades from around the world.
When one of her singles reached number one on the Top 40 Mainstream, Jojo became at age 13 the youngest solo artist to have a number one single in America. In December 2004 she was nominated for Female New Artist Of The Year and Mainstream Top 40 Single Of The Year at the Billboard Music Awards. She is also the youngest artist to be nominated at the Billboard Music Awards.
