Coke Zero jumpstarts 2010
MANILA, Philippines - The year 2009 left the nation with both poignant and awe-inspiring memories to look back on. As another year starts, a new opportunity unfolds to bring a fresh start to daring hopefuls.
That’s why Coke Zero ushered in 2010 with a refreshed dare to resolute individuals through a special New Year countdown celebration held simultaneously in three key locations in the country — Eastwood City in Libis Quezon City, Ayala Center Cebu and Clark Field in Angeles Pampanga — last Dec. 31at exactly Zero Hour.
The Coke Zero kick-off party painted the town black with all its treats for revelers of all kinds. From fun booths to party-poppers and noisemakers to exciting freebies down to the continuous flow of the fizzy beverage available for everyone’s indulgence, the grand New Year welcome surely did invite that festive mood and shooed away all negative vibes. Partakers were invited to make their resolutions and enter 2010 either by writing them on a graffiti wall or on balloons which were later dumped inside a huge Coke Zero bin. When the clock hit midnight, the balloons along with inspired promises were released to the air, revealing a big surprise and new gusto for a great new year.
For the celebrated brand and millions of its believers, the Year of the Tiger is indeed the year to set aside bad habits from the past, to unravel probabilities, to uphold a fitter lifestyle and to make a firm stand to look great and sexy.
