MANILA, Philippines - Global swim gear leader Speedo steps up its game with its new product line of timepieces. Just as runners monitor their time and heart rate while doing laps on the track, swimmers can now also do the same in the water.

Speedo Summer 2009 watches are timing instruments for swim and fitness consumers. It combines Speedo’s Advance Technology incorporating functions like lap counters, chronographs, interval timers and alarms with original designs using lightweight materials. Unique and patented technologies on selected styles include Hydro-Pushers that allow freedom of movement, as the buttons can be pressed even under water. Its Pinless Strap Design allows the bearer to wear and remove the watch very quickly, even when wet. Select styles also has a built in UV sensor that warns when it detects harmful UV index.
