MANILA, Philippines - On its 10th anniversary, Nancy Drool finally launches its independently-released self-produced CD “The Mystery of The Clueless Heart” tomorrow, 4:45 p.m., at Mag:net Café, Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila.
The album — recorded and engineered by Mark Escueta, Shinji Tanaka, and remixed by Joel Bohol — features 12 tracks of Nancy Drool tunes written from 1999 to 2003.
Nancy Drool is Haya Santiago-Florendo’s brainchild, born in 1999 with the help of Jaja Pelayo, Tiffany Cortez and Myla Orogo. In 2001, Mutya Bose and Julius Sanvictores joined the band.
Drummer Julius Sanvictores says, “We decided to hold a small party as a culmination of our work on the recordings, a celebration of the 10 years spent together and a hearty farewell to Mutch leaving the country.”
With special guest performances by Jess Santiago, Shoulder State, and Encounters with a Yeti.
