Two new Gymboree Play & Music centers open this summer

-

MANILA, Philippines - The education sector remains strong despite the current economic crisis as Gymboree Play & Music, the pioneer and global leader of early childhood learning programs, opens two more centers in Metro Manila.

The two new centers are at top mall destinations Eastwood Mall and Greenbelt 5. As with the other Gymboree centers, both new locations will be offering children — from newborns to age four — the opportunity to explore, learn, play and have fun in an innovative parent-child program. Residents within the two areas can see the value and variety Gymboree Play & Music brings to malls, along with the hundreds of Gymboree families who come weekly for classes and the drop-in playtime.

“Early education is very critical considering 90 percent of the brain is developed in the first five years of life. Gymboree is an experience no child should be without and we continue to strive in bringing this experience to many places in the Philippines,” says Jackie Aquino-Gavino, Gymboree Play & Music program and PR director. “We cultivate creativity and confidence in children with our nurturing approach in our class and the Gymboree PreSchool program,” adds Kathy Yu of Gymboree Greenbelt 5.

With the summer season just around the corner, parents may come and check out what Gymboree has in store for their little ones. With its unique playscape and a selection of programs in a cool, comfortable environment, a summer at Gymboree will be like no other. Children may choose from Play & Learn classes, World Music, process-oriented Arts classes, Learning Lab, Science Fun, get fit with Sports and travel the world with Global Kids. Gymboree’s summer programs, GymCamp and FlexiPass, come with unlimited Gymplay for the duration of the enrollment. A free Gymbo insulated lunch bag or Gymbo beach towel also awaits enrollees. Gymboree PreSchool is holding preview classes this month and is now accepting enrollments for the next school year and is also offering an “early bird” discount until the end of March.

Finally, for older siblings, ages six to 12, selected Gymboree branches are also offering Gakken Science classes which include three take-home science kits. Gakken Science classes start April 13.

With its well-researched and updated curriculum, colorful playscape and quality learning materials from Leapfrog School, Crayola and Handwriting without Tears, and small student-teacher ratio, Gymboree definitely has the winning formula when it comes to developing confident, creative lifelong learners. Aside from these, every center is equipped with clean washrooms, diaper-changing tables and breastfeeding rooms that cater to the needs of young families.

In addition to the extensive program of classes, Gymboree Play & Music Centers provide a great option for hosting birthday parties and other themed events such as Easter, Parents’ Day, Christmas and Halloween celebrations. An enthusiastic Gymboree teacher leads the activities as the children and parents play, laugh and sing together, creating a memorable celebration. Gymboree also offers a venue for parenting seminars such as childbirth, childcare and breastfeeding classes.

Gymboree has over 550 sites in 32 countries. For a location near you and for more information about its various programs, call 910-7529 (PLAY), or visit www.gymboree-ph.com.
