Res|Toe|Run sets foot in Robinsons Galleria
Res|Toe|Run recently opened at the second level of Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas Center with the store design resembling a walk-in closet — but with faux kitchen elements.
The restaurant-inspired store cleverly incorporates an improvised chiller that serves as a cool footwear display area for kids’ shoes — and layers of wine bottles that were transformed into built-in display shelves for brands Kickers, DC, Sanuk, Terra Plana, FitFlop, Lofu, The North Face and Hi-Tec.
“Part of our aggressive campaign is to reinvent the traditional shop concept and bring a new shopping experience to clients,” says Susan Thai, strategic business unit head of Kenrich International Distributor Corporation.
The Galleria boutique has four essences: exclusivity, contemporary class, creativity, and high-end fashion forwardness. The interiors were done by artist Robert Alejandro. Among the gourmet items are faux cooking ingredients, wooden kitchen and dining utensils, barrels, and mock menu boards. “Creating a specialty shop that fulfills various people’s vain cravings for shoes is a delightful challenge,” says Thai.
