When Itsie-Bitsie first opened its doors a few years ago, my girlfriends and I could not miss a Saturday night out in Malate without swinging by the Maria Sta. Novella-scented nook that was filled with the elegant confections chosen with love by Ines Delgado-Prieto. Along with our miniscule evening clutches, we danced the night away carefully guarding our newly-acquired Itsie-Bitsie bags. This was our Saturday night Malate routine.
Now, Itsie-Bitsie is not so itty-bitty anymore. Finding its new home in Rockwell, it’s brimming with more too-cool-for-school lines that can only be found in this mecca of stealth style. Charlotte Ronson, Tahari, Robert Rodriguez and Adam and Eve are just some of the names that can be found on its racks. The swimwear collection and the coveted Vilbrequin trunks (so your boyfriend can stylishly match you in the playa department) are still what keeps Itsie dear to every style vixen’s heart.
My personal favorite is the carefully edited lifestyle range that they carry. The Tocca Cleopatra candles are a staple in my living room, as are the generous Marsaille soaps that lord over my powder room. The Tocca lingerie wash is perfect for caring for those delicate lacy bits and the linen spray makes your clothes smell like a million bucks. Of course the seminal Santa Maria Novellla potpourri is still a must!
