Rain keeps the party on a roll

These past few days the city has been drenched, however it was a delight to see that the dismal weather didn’t dampen Manila’s party scene. Last week, Smirnoff Vodka had the perfect excuse to party with a challenge that made us drink filtered Marikina River water as the most celebrated Vodka made an effort to "Unlock the Purity Code" with a demonstration of its revolutionary purification method at the Central Park in Eastwood City, Libis. Water samples from the Marikina River were purified through the Smirnoff Purification Installation. The water from the river was pumped into the filtration system. It was cleansed of contaminants, making it safe to drink. This event marked the beginning of Smirnoff plant’s Asian leg. The challenge of purifying river water was first introduced to Londoners when Smirnoff turned the Thames River water into pure drinking water. On display was a scaled-down prototype mechanism inspired by the actual Smirnoff vodka plant. It employed a state-of-the-art charcoalation technique that utilized Polish hardwood charcoal to remove invisible, microscopic impurities.

Party habitués flocked to the party to celebrate the successful festivities of the "Pure Spirits Concluded Party" the Smirnoff way. It was indeed a fun rainy night in the city.

What was the most memorable thing you’ve done under the rain?

Crying under intense pouring rain with my best friend because the last boat left the island and there were no other boats leaving for the next few days due to an upcoming typhoon. Luckily, we managed to get home.
