Hung up on summer

The heat is definitely on and Folded & Hung just added a little extra sizzle to the already-scorching season with the launch of hot endorser, the newly buff Polo Ravales, at the label’s fashion show at the Ayala Museum lobby.
The men’s summer collection – all by Folded & Hung’s in-house designer Manuel Barretto – was an innovative union of old western and desert army style in subdued shades of brown, gray, plum and green, which dominated the catwalk. Standouts from the label included solid-colored shirts with prominent stitching, cuff details and contrast color piping, stylized Cuban-inspired polos, vintage wash V-neck tees and preppy pique shirts with pockets. Accessories proved to be a huge hit on the runway as well with suede and leather belts, military dog tags, fedora hats and military caps.

I wear the right colors, like subtle earth tones compared to the cotton candy colors of last year. And a pair of Havaianas in a similar hue couldn’t hurt.
