So you don't want to look like Debbie Gibson

- Karla Alindahao -
It’s a given fact that even the best – or most fashion savvy – of us leave high school with the most horrendous pictures imaginable, like the kind that sort of flaunts your inner high school loser complete with braces, puberty-induced acne and non-existent fashion sense. Just the right kind of stuff for blackmail. And that’s just for everyday high school life. Prom pictures, for some weird reason or another, always turn out to be the worst, even when you’re supposed to look your best after all the fuss of pre-prom primping. But like most disasters, prom fashion faux pas can always be avoided. Learn from the rest of us. Never repeat the mistakes of those who have had to endure one whole night of looking like a Debbie Gibson-look-alike contest winner and never fall for the marketing ploys of the fashion industry or the incessant prodding of old hair salon owners. And yes, here’s a final word of advice: if you ever decide to follow the looks of promspot.com or promdress.net, know that you’ll end up with a batch of blackmail-worthy photos.
