Travel in style

The passion for traveling will never cease especially when Essential Elements Productions (EEP) together with Globe Telecom introduces the latest essential in traveling, the WOW Philippines Traveler’s Privilege Card which was launched in Boracay. The card caters to both local and foreign travelers exploring the Philippines. They get to enjoy discounts and privileges at the country’s best destinations and experience more of what the Philippines has to offer in terms of dining, entertainment, leisure activities, shops, and accommodations. This card encourages visits to the country’s prime vacation spots such as Subic, Tagaytay, Baguio, Batangas, Puerto Galera, Cebu, Davao, Boracay, Bohol and Palawan.

What makes this card so unique is its design, which gives new definition to traveling light. Unlike ordinary cards, this card is smaller, sleeker, more modern and easier to bring around. It comes in a small stylish plastic pouch, which has a dual purpose. When attached to a chain, the card can be worn as a necklace while strolling on the beach. It fits snugly in your wallet’s compartment so you can take it with you anywhere. A mini fold-out brochure containing the complete list of merchants honoring the travel card is also included to remind you of the hippest places to be wherever you are. This card gives you a privileged experience as you explore the islands to relax. Not a bad way to explore the beauty of the Philippines!

Nik Barancik

Where in Manila would you take a foreign friend for a swinging night out?

We’d start off with a nice quiet dinner at Nuvo. Then to pick up the pace, transfer to Absinth to enjoy great music. And if the night is still young, migrate to V Bar where everyone parties till the wee hours of the morning.

Aubrey Miles

Where in Batangas would you spend a day and why?

Punta Fuego, Batangas. I’d probably stay for a week. Do some water sports with my friends and get a tan.

Heidi Dyangko

Who would you have lunch with at Sonya’s Garden in Tagaytay?

I’d drive with my girlfriend, Jeng, because she is crazy and fun and eats organic stuff.

Nikki Domingo

How would you spend a day in Cebu?

The moment I arrive in Cebu, I head straight to Sutukil to get a taste of sinigang ng ulo ng lapu lapu and garlic shrimp. Then Sto. Nino church for a little prayer for a safe journey to Malapascua beach! To wind down, coffee at Tides in Shangri-La Mactan. I won’t forget to bring home a lot of mangoes!

Tamara De Guzman

What would you do when you reach the top of Mt. Apo in Davao?

I’d yell "I’m the king of the world!" because I’d probably feel invincible and untouchable. Besides, if you did that in the city, people would look at you like you were insane. Then again, if you did that in the city, you probably are!

Mia Macapagal

What makes you keep coming back to party in Boracay?

It’s such a unique experience, due to the whole island escape scene where people seem relaxed and more themselves.

Mina Sunico

Where in Laguna would you want to be photographed with your lover?

If I had a lover (hint! hint!) we’d need a place where we can generate some heat so the Monte Vista Hotsprings would be perfect.

Kristen Sesante

What is a unique must-see in Bulacan?

The famous Pulilan Butterfly Haven. I never realized that a single butterfly could have so many colors.

JR Victorio

How do you stay fit while vacationing in Subic Bay?

Nothing beats Subic’s Jungle Survival. It’s really everything you need to know in case you get stranded in the forest. Check out Pamulaklakin Forest Trails or Apaliin Trails or sailing.

Amiel Cabanlig

How would you style your mask for the Maskara Festival in Bacolod?

I’d get a mask and put ostrich feathers, lots of shiny sequins and a huge pair of wings in different colors of the rainbow!

Ria Romero

What makes the WOW Philippines Traveler’s Privilege Card a must-have fashion travel accessory?

The card comes in a really small size so it fits perfectly into my kikay kit or a small wallet. And being a shopaholic – it’s all about the discounts.

Tina Poblador

Where do you relax in Dumaguete?

Bahura Resort and Spa. Just kick back and relax, have a killer massage, pamper your footsies, and sample the Dumaguete delicacies.

Bianca Consunji

What makes Baguio the place to chill-out with your gang and why?

It is one of the few places you can go in the Philippines where you can actually wear warm clothes and it doesn’t cost much to go there. Plus there’s a lot of good food, pasalubong items, sightseeing, and ukay-ukay!

Cris Golamco

Why can’t you leave home without your Privilege Card?

Because it offers whopping discounts in over 10 vacation spots and over 200 different establishments around the Philippines.
