Treats for your toes

Between the staple foot spas at our favorite massage havens and the soothing pedicures at our choice salons, our poor feet are finally getting the attention they rightfully deserve. After all, they support the weight of our entire bodies, they carry us through the day, and they get us to where we want to go. Its about time we spoiled our tootsies! And what better way to do that than treating our toes to a soothing aromatherapy rubdown and finishing off with a soft pair of footwear that feels like heaven on the feet?
Indeed this twosome toe treat was the brainchild of Skin by Private Joyces Abba Napa and Manilas favorite flip-flop brand Havaianas Anne Arcenas. During the recently concluded fun and sun-filled San Mig Light Boracay Bound party on the sandy shores of Bora, Skin and Havaianas offered the best duet to relieve tired and sand-molested tips and toes a soothing and sweet scented massage with Skins patented massage oils and a pair of trusty Havaianas to wear home.
"We felt it was the perfect pair to treat tired and aching feet," Havaianas Anne Arcenas said as she gamely dressed everyones feet in the new hip Havaiana floral flip-flops. "After all, what better way to spoil your feet than to get a massage and a new pair of slippers?"
Skins Abba Napa couldnt agree more. "The skincare line by Private Joyce has actually been around for a while now," Abba explained as she displayed Skins various sweet-scented massage oils, the perfect addition to any foot massage. "We just felt this was a good way to expand the brands market and introduce it to new clientele."
And what a tempting sight these toe treats made. Skin and Havaianas put up a canvas tent that spelled heaven for the feet. The tables were decorated with Havaianas new footwear line including flip-flops in Kool-Aid colors, floral designs, two-toned pairs, and the popular Havaianas High which are wedge slippers (the pair of choice for discriminating height-challenged individuals like me!). These were paired with Skins several epidermis delights like peppermint foot scrub, foot lotion, and foot relief spray, cool pink berries hand cleanser, moisturizing skin screen, and (my absolute favorite!) green tea massage oil.
So what do people have to say about Havaianas and Skin? The responses from a variety of individuals were as diverse and unique as the plethora of flip-flops and skin products available.
"I like the wide range of colors of Havaianas," scuba diver Doran Sordo said, sporting a pair of Black Havaianas Surf.
DJ Manolet Dario asserted, "My black Havaianas Brasil with the little Brazilian flag on the side are the most comfy beach slippers I have worn to date!"
And writer Martin Valdes even went so far as to say, "Thanks to Skin and Havaianas my IQ has increased, my love life has improved, and Ive rediscovered Jesus."
Check out these wonderful products and your feet will be thanking you a hundred times over! Havaianas new line of zany colored flip-flops are available at Souk, Aura Athletica, Tabu, Rustans, and Nothing but Water. Skins soothing concoctions are available at Sari-Sari outlets in Glorietta, SM Megamall, and Ayala Center Cebu as well as several Robinsons Malls and SM Malls in Metro Manila.
My feet are happily enjoying peppermint foot treatments and black Havaianas wedges. Whatre on your feet?
