What’s your favorite music video?

Being a member of the MTV and Penshoppe Youth Council certainly has its benefits: an opportunity to help the less fortunate, the prestige of being ambassadors of goodwill for great brands like MTV, Penshoppe, Cali and I-Academy, and being considered a model citizen and a top model at the same time. Life has not been quite the same for the members of the first ever MTV and Penshoppe Youth Council. Having their faces emblazoned on magazines and newspapers, they have become celebrities in their own right. In fact, during a recent modeling gig in MTV and Penshoppe’s Cebu concert entitled "Free," the Council members were stunned as they walked on the ramp and people in the audience were shrieking and shouting their names.
So how do they relax and chill out from their hectic schedule? MTV had a light chat with them recently at National Sports Grill and asked them what they did when they got home. Well, what else? Watch music videos, of course! And these are their favorites.
Brad Turvey  I like Cry by Mandy Moore. I think she’s awesome. I like the Gorillaz’ video  Clint Eastwood. The animation is so cool! And Stan by Eminem. I like that because it depicts real life.
Terence Koa  For some reason, I really like that video of Britney Spears, I’m Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman. The shot where the camera just goes around her while she’s on a cliff  I think they took it in helicopter or something. It’s just an amazing shot.
Danielle Mendoza  Overprotected by Britney Spears. What a cool dance sequence. We actually use that video to copy her dance steps. (Danielle is part of her school’s dance org.)
Nichole Schulze  I like a lot of videos actually. I like the one of Dave Matthews. And Shakira’s Underneath Your Clothes. She is really talented!
Kelly Misa  Definitely J. Lo! I love Ain’t It Funny! It’s so cool. And of course, how can I forget  Enrique Iglesias’ Hero  it’s cheesy but I can’t help it  I really like it!
Marco Lobregat  Hmmm... the first thing that comes to mind is Sophie Ellis Bextor’s Murder On the Dancefloor. That’s pretty darn good. And oh man, she’s pretty! She also sang Take Me Home. Boy, she’s hot! And oh yeah, John Mayer’s No Such Thing. Definitely a must-watch!
Uriah Vanden Bos  No question, Brian McKnight’s Back at One  it has a story to it and I’m really touched by the words of the song!
Leila Lee Kuzma  First thing that comes to mind is What’s Love by Ashanti and Ja Rule. And oh yeah, Cry by Mandy Moore. I like the song because that’s the type of music I listen to and the song is meaningful.
Kathleen Hilario  Shakira’s Whenever, Wherever. She’s a new voice, of Hispanic heritage. Her beat’s pretty catchy and she exudes girl power and confidence  she knows what a girl wants with her life!
