DJ Soiree at the NBC Tent

The French Embassy in cooperation with NBK presents DJ Soiree 9 PM, Friday, 7 June 2002 NBC Tent, The Fort, Taguig also featuring NBK resident Manolet Dario.
Electronic music has become one of the most popular genres of contemporary French music. The pulsating rhythms of DJ’s like St. Germain, Modjo, Daft Punk et. al. resound in the hippest bars not only in Paris but in cosmopolitan cities all over the world.
In cooperation with Radio France Internationale, the French Spring will be organizing a techno dance party for avant-garde Filipino youth. French DJ, Willy Richert, radio host of the program EKLEKTIK dedicated to electronic music in RFi, will come to Manila to spin French dance mixes that will energize the crowd. This project is part of the on-going "DJ Volants" (Flying DJ’s) program designed to promote new releases of the French music industry.
Prior to the event, DJ Willy will be spinning on air at Joey 92.3FM, with the support of the National Broadcasting Corporation, NBC. Complementary project currently under study: A fashion show set to the music of Willy Richert will be organized by the Rustan group of Mme. Zenaida Tantoco to launch the male RTW line of "Façonnable" and "Christian Lacroix".
