iAcademy hops aboard the Council

Recognizing the vital role of the youth in society, the Information and Communications Technology Academy (iAcademy) joins MTV Philippines and Penshoppe in its MTV Philippines and Penshoppe Youth Council Search. This search is on its way to choosing five girls and five boys to compose the Youth Council – a group that best epitomizes that MTV and Penshoppe spirit.

Officials of iAcademy signified its support for the Youth Council by formalizing an agreement with MTV Philippines, the search organizer.

Aside from providing world-class education for future information and communication technology leaders, iAcademy has made it part of its mission to support programs that recognize young achievers – much like the vision of the Youth Council Search. iAcademy has also recently launched its iAM (iAcademy Achievers and Movers) annual recognition program, and awarded the prestigious title to Jun Yupitun of Pilipinas Teleserve, Richard Kho of Technistock and Eric Yaptangco of American International Underwriters. These three outstanding young professionals are the first batch of iAM awardees selected for their individual achievements in the field of technology and business, locally and globally.
