Café All Day

- John Magsaysay of Young Star Magazine -
Ever found yourself craving for a good stack of your fave pancakes at 3 a.m.? Or are you tired of your good ol’ canned goods culinary waker-upper? Thank heaven for the minds who have heart for the countless insomniacs and lazy boys out there (me included).

In the tradition of 7/11 comes perhaps the best thing that happened to 24-hour dining, with all due respect to Goodah, of course! Café All Day is power breakfast epitomized, particularly apt for the Ortigas denizens (read: yuppie).

With its menu ranging from omelets to orange juice, not to mention superb all-day specials, this café is sure to keep one’s digestive juices up and about. And did I mention that the choices don’t end in their—ahem—never –ending menu? You have tons of choices for your eggs, side dishes, and add-ons, making you quip, "This is democracy!" And you always thought choosing was easy? But hey, you have all day!

WHAT TO TRY:

Banana Nut Pancakes with Pecan Butter, Marinated Rib Eye Tapa, Country Fried Chicken Steak, and Red Grape Shake

HOW MUCH TO BRING:

P300 per person

THUMBS UP:

Monstrous servings on a 24-hour time frame? Now that is good!

THUMBS DOWN:

It’s on top of Tequila Joe’s which makes it not-so-recommendable for Saturday-night lounge slouchers!
