Where Else is the party?

For Where Else’s Rush house music Saturday nights, December was definitely the month of non-stop celebration as the club played host to two of Hong Kong’s top DJs: the infamous Joel Lai and Roy Malig.

Dance music fans trooped to the club on Dec. 8 to catch DJ Joel Lai weave his magic on the dance floor. Meeting everyone’s expectations, Joel Lai took all partygoers on a trip they wouldn’t soon forget. Seen enjoying the tide were local DJs David Jacob, Nicky Jurado, Jed Dario with pretty girls Pinky Webb, Faith Lavarro, Twinky Lagdameo, Kat Tuazon and Iñigo Zobel.

The partying didn’t stop there though, as Where Else? again treated Manila scenesters to another all-out-pre-Christmas gig when it flew in DJ Roy Malig the next week for "Winter Rush@WhereElse?" A party that will go down in history books as one of the wickedest ever complete with a confetti-"snow" machine, Santa’s bewitching elves, and dwarves.

Presented by The Big Fish Crew, Globe Gentxt and San Miguel Blue Ice, "Winter Rush" was a party that uplifted everyone’s spirits and got them all in the celebrating mode, thanks to DJ Roy Malig and his funky house beats. Those glimpsed feeling the rush were Gentxt Girl and MTV VJ Donita Rose, Ruffa Gutierrez, Vina Morales, Paolo Martel, Jojo Manlongat, Carlo Salas, Joel Tantoco and model Jason Erceg.

With a series of successful events, it’s become clear that when it comes to giving people a good time, Where Else? knows how to do it right. Look out for more things to come in 2002.
