WHAT'S COOL ABOUT IT?
Interface
Admittedly, the interface looks too kiddy in certain instances; gone are the utilitarian edges and colors of the Windows 95/98/NT era; the new interface is in subdued hues, as well as curves and soft graphics. The whole menu system seems to be designed to soothe the viewer. This is no surprise from an ergonomic standpoint, as working on a computer is stressful enough as it is. The menus have also been redesigned to be more accessible, and less daunting to look at, unlike the old Windows style of giving one a long list of programs. The new way subdivides the start menu even more, making it a marvel of compartmentalization.
