MANILA, Philippines — Clark International Airport in Pampanga received the International Airport of the Year - Philippines title at this year's TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards - Asia.
The premier awards program in the Asia-Pacific region organized by Travel Daily Media recognizes achievements in the travel and tourism industry, highlighting the best in class and setting benchmarks for excellence. Apart from airports, these include hotels, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, travel agencies, booking platforms, and travel technology.

The Clark airport was commended for its innovative initiatives serving millions of travelers and significantly boosting economic development in Central Luzon, increasing its influence as a key player in Asia's highly competitive aviation landscape.
Noel Manankil, President of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. which operates the airport, said the recognition is a testament to Clark airport employees' hard work and dedication.
"This recognition inspires us to continue improving, innovating, and providing exceptional service to our passengers," Manankil also said, hoping to attract more airline partnerships and make the aiport a "world-class hub for seamless connectivity."
