SINGAPORE — The city-state of Singapore is a destination long known to be a melting pot of interesting cultures.

Its storied past left an indelible mark on its streets, while its nook and corners are Instagram-worthy in the language of today's picture-loving youth.

The stimulating stories that abound in the tiny yet mighty Southeast Asian nation not only manifest in its beautifully designed edifices, but also in the variety of cuisines that are easily available in many hawker centers and stalls.

After all, food is love language that leaves quite an impression especially if a dish teases both the palate and the mind for its exquisite, unforgettable burst of flavors in the mouth.

Thus, Singapore is an experience that leaves visitors, old and new, in awe. Its beauty is best captured in film — of a time one savored a plateful of the popular Chili Crab, of a place where its progressive technology left a bystander in awe, or of an experience inside its crown jewel, the world's best airport, Changi International Airport.

This gallery shows some recent snaps using a handy technology like the latest Oppo FindN3 Flip smartphone.
