MANILA, Philippines — Victoria Court owner Angie King revealed that the popular motel chain will be rebranding to Hotel Ava.

In her Instagram account, Angie posted the logo of the new hotel.

“Today, I dare myself to take on a new challenge with my Hotel. We're now saying goodbye to Victoria Court to welcome a new brand @hotelavaph. We #DareToBeDifferentHere. Not only are we changing brands, we are evolving a lot of the things of the business that I'm excited to share in the next few days,” she captioned the post.

According to Angie, the rebranding will focus on sustainable tourism.

"Similar to my transition, change doesn’t happen overnight. When we decided to rebrand from Victoria Court to Hotel AVA it wasn't an easy process," Angie said in a separate post.

"I hope with these radical changes we are implementing we can serve as an inspiration to other companies to try to rethink how they conduct business so that we truly make a difference on how we treat our environment and our people," she added.

In another post, King clarified that the rebranding will only happen in select Victoria Court properties.

"Just to be clear! The only @VictoriaCourtVC properties rebranding to Hotel AVA is in MALATE, BUENDIA and PASAY. The rest will remain as Victoria Court," she said.

Founded in 1970 by Angelo King, Victoria Court now has 10 properties to its name and has been known for its themed suites such as the Oval Office, Asgard, Austin Powers, Embassy, Divine, Cirque, Casino Royale, Princess Jasmin and Moulin Rouge.
