Hilton Manila rolls out new standards of hygiene and cleanliness with guests' safety in mind

Integrating Hilton’s Global CleanStay Program’s best practices for disinfection and sanitation 

MANILA, Philippines – Hilton Manila has thoughtfully put together new cleanliness initiatives that builds upon the already high standards of housekeeping and hygiene the Hilton brand is recognized for. The 356-room property has left no stone unturned when it comes to the health and safety of their guests. Its elevated hotel protocols aim to make travelers and “staycationers” alike feel comfortable and safe when they walk through the doors of the hotel. 

As a response to guests’ ever changing expectations on safety and hygiene, the hotel has taken additional measures developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities that includes setting up temperature checkpoints at the welcome lobby and event hall lobby reception; requiring guests and delegates to complete a mandatory health declaration form and recording their temperatures before allowing them to check-in or admitting them to the assigned rooms, suites or function room; deploying hand sanitizer stations and disinfecting wipe dispensers in all public areas and dining spaces; and frequently performing enhanced cleaning of high-touched areas with the use of hospital-grade disinfectants and cleaning products by Housekeeping’s “Sanitization Crew” among others.

Elements of Hilton CleanStay will greet guests from the moment they enter the hotel and will be present throughout every aspect of the experience, ensuring the well-being of guests and Team Members without compromising the hospitality Hilton is known for.
