El Nido beach among world's best beaches for 2016
MANILA, Philippines - Travel ratings website Trip Advisor included a beach in El Nido, Palawan on their list of World's Best Beaches for 2016.
Through the votes of the users of the popular website, Nacpan Beach ranked 10th, placing itself alongside beaches in Myanmar, Brazil, Puerto Rico and Greece.
"A long coastline, golden sand, beautiful crystal waters and a completely virgin landscape make a visit to this place unforgettable!” the website says, describing the pristine beach.
Nacpan beach, a four-kilometer stretch of cream sand and coconut trees was actually considered as one of the secret getaways for some of the tourists, until its beauty was discovered by many and become one of the best attractions in El Nido.
Situated in Sitio Calitang, the once deserted paradise slowly became one of the most sought after destinations in the popular El Nido. Macpan beach has a twin beach called Calintang beach.
