Mountain Dew hosts #DewTourAmSeries
MANILA, Philippines – Mountain Dew hosted the first-ever #DewTourAmSeries recently at the Mountain Dew Skatepark in Circuit Makati.
The Manila leg of the Dew Tour AM series was the culmination of the successful expansion of the Dew Tour, a celebrated international action sports platform that hosts grassroots events and amateur and professional competitions. More than 12 countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Korea and the Philippines have hosted the Dew Tour skate competitions.
Aside from the skateboarding event, the #DewTourAMSeries also featured Parokya Ni Edgar and globally-recognized skaters like Jordan Maxham, Justin Schulte and Filipino-American Sean Malto.
The highlight was the skate competition for Pinoy amateur skaters. In first place was Renzo Feliciano. He received a cash prize of P60,000. Other winners were Demetrio Cuevas, second place (P30,000); and Al Rasheed Rasheed, third place (P20,000). Rasheed also got an additional P10,000 for having the best overall run.
