The Pen’s iconic SnowPage gets a make-over
MANILA, Philippines – In keeping with The Peninsula Manila’s commitment to giving back, the hotel will once again participate in The Peninsula Hotels’ worldwide charity program, Trees of Hope.
This year, The Peninsula Manila’s lovable holiday ambassador SnowPage returns in an inventive new guise exclusively designed by luxury toy brand Papinee. Inspired by the rich and vibrant culture of the Philippines, Manila’s limited edition SnowPage plush toy sports a colorful indigenous tribal pattern and the sun motif adapted from the iconic “Sunburst” sculpture in The Lobby.
Proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation Philippines which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.
Hand-made with luxurious fabrics and detailed embroidery, the limited-edition SnowPage also includes the chance to win the experience of a lifetime with surprise seasonal gifts. Hidden inside a large number of the boxes are “Golden Tickets” for bespoke Peninsula adventures specially designed to create lasting memories for the family.
Lucky guests have the chance to win the grand prize of a two-night stay for four in a Premier Suite, a fun dinner for four at Spices, daily breakfast plus exciting Peninsula Academy family experiences including learning how to prepare halo-halo.
Other prizes feature delectable dinners for four, or the celebrated Peninsula Afternoon Tea sets, all intended to forge indelible impressions and meaningful memories.
Since its launch in 2003, The Peninsula Hotels’ holiday fundraising campaign Trees of Hope has raised more than $1.5 million for Make a Wish Foundations all over the world.
Specializing in creating magnificent toys showcasing beautiful embroidery and detailed craftsmanship, toy-art collective Papinee has designed 10 exclusive limited edition SnowPage toys inspired by the arts, culture and architecture of each Peninsula destination, with just 300 SnowPages created for each city. Limited-edition Papinee SnowPages can be purchased for P4,000 at The Peninsula Manila.
Hotel guests and visitors are also invited to purchase the classic glass SnowPage ornaments to adorn the hotel’s majestic holiday tree or to cherish at home. Those interested in a more palate-teasing experience are encouraged to try a special Tea of Hope, Mocktail of Hope and Cocktail of Hope. A portion of the funds raised will benefit Make a Wish Foundation Philippines.
