Philippine-made Caraboom for world leaders

MANILA, Philippines – The Caraboom, a non-electronic amplifier made of rattan and other indigenous Philippine materials, was given as a gift by mobile leader Smart Communications to each of the APEC head of economies when they visited the country this week. Designed by Cebu-based Pacific Traders & Manufacturing Corp., the Caraboom showcases world-class Filipino artistry and innovation. Presenting the Caraboom to Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez, Jr. is Smart Public Affairs Group head Ramon Isberto.
