Philippine parol at Diamond Hotel

MANILA, Philippines - Diamond Hotel Philippines welcomed the Yuletide season with the annual tree lighting ceremony at the hotel’s lobby. Decked in shades of sunglow gold and capiz parol ornaments, the hotel commenced the holidays with performances from Bayanihan and the Regina Coeli Choir. Lighting the Christmas tree are (from left) Vanessa Ledesma Suatengco, Diamond Hotel general manager; Raul Sunico, president of the Cultural Center of the Philippines; Valerie Weigmann, Miss World Philippines 2014; Carmela Ang of Diamond Hotel Philippines; and Chris Millado, vice president and artistic director of the CCP. This year, the beneficiaries from the sale of tree ornaments are the Laura Vicuña Foundation and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ Adopt-a-Wildlife program.
