Azalea vacation club offers value for money
MANILA, Philippines - As one of the top beach destinations in the world, Boracay is a powerhouse mixture of adventure and relaxation. The relaxing blue waters and pristine white sand entice Filipino and foreign travelers. Adding more excitement to the Boracay beach holiday experience is its vibrant and pulsating nightlife and entertainment activities.
By the first quarter of 2015, Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay, the island’s first 4-star serviced apartment hotel, will offer value for money vacation accommodations for large groups of families and friends with its spacious 1-, 2- or 3-bedroom units with full kitchen amenities, separate dining and living areas. Suites range from 30 to 75 square meters. Each kitchen facility is equipped with a cooktop range, microwave, refrigerator, rice cooker, electric water kettle, cookware and dinnerware set.
Joining the initial Azalea Hotel & Residences Baguio, Azalea Boracay will feature 285 serviced apartment suites, a restaurant and a pool bar, two rooftop swimming pools overlooking the beach horizon (one for adults and a wading pool for kids). A travel concierge is available to provide information and make arrangements for island tours. The hotel has an on-call massage and wellness service, and Wifi is available in common guest areas for unlimited online postings. For pasalubong shopping, a souvenir shop is located inside in the hotel.
The opportunity to put up a second Azalea property was brought about by the company’s vacation club membership offering. “We felt we should establish a presence, and the presence was really premised on the basis of our membership concept, the Azalea Vacation Club,” Azalea Hotels & Residences CEO and chairman Marin Martinez says.
Offering a premier membership granting exclusive vacation ownership privileges in all Azalea properties, the Azalea Vacation Club promises to give members valuable discounts and features, especially now that a second hotel location will be made available. “We realized that the Baguio user – at a certain point in time – was going to look for other places,” continues Martinez. “When we decided to diversify and go into the business of tourism and leisure, we said if we’re going to do this, we’re going to do a chain, so that our members will have a variety of venues to choose from. It’s really more value for money. ”
A lifetime membership to the Azalea Vacation Club is offered at a very reasonable price. “That’s the value for money we offer – a high quality of service that is affordable to the Filipino,” he says. “The membership is transferable and you get the benefits of a member such as discounts on rooms, restaurants, tour arrangements and wellness services.”
Martinez adds that putting up this new hotel and planning for future sites is a worthy challenge. “We like the challenge of providing the best value to the Filipino consumer. We’re saying you can buy one, two, three nights from us at a very affordable price and you can stay at a 4-star establishment where you are accorded the kind of service normally seen in a 5-star hotel.”
Future proposed sites include Cebu, Davao and Clark which will, hopefully, commence soon after Azalea Boracay launches. It’s something that timeshare members and guests can look forward to.
