MANILA, Philippines - Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa, Cebu shapes holidays into delightful experiences with the unveiling of two recreational packages for young guests – Earth’s Kiddie Crusaders and the Play and Learn Water Adventure.
Designed for the ultimate fun-cation, both children’s group programs offer hours of outdoor entertainment for the resort’s youngest guests.
Families looking to enjoy grounded pleasures can enlist their children in Earth’s Kiddie Crusaders, an exciting program featuring fish feeding, tree planting and an introduction to vermicomposting. Steadily gaining popularity among environmental enthusiasts, vermicomposting is an ecologically safe method of using worms to convert organic waste into rich humus or fertilizer.
Hosted on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon, this program requires a minimum of 12 participants and is available for children aged 4 to 10 years at P650 net per child.
Older children searching for more engaging pastimes are invited to sign up for the Play and Learn Water Adventure, a fascinating marine excursion featuring coral planting and a snorkeling activity at the resort’s marine sanctuary. Officially established in 2007, the resort’s marine sanctuary spans six hectares and is home to 160 species of fish, clams and coral.
Hosted on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon, this program requires a minimum of 10 participants and is available for children aged 11 to 16 years at P750 net per child.
