MANILA, Philippines - The Taiwan Tourism Bureau holds its “Time for Taiwan” travel fair around Asia from July 26 to 27 at the Event Center of SM Megamall.
The expo will showcase Taiwan’s offerings in terms of travel, hospitality and food. The tradeshow also underscores the convenience and perks of traveling in Taiwan like the “no visa” requirement for visiting tourists. Filipino passport holders who possess a valid visa or permanent resident certificate issued by USA, Canada, Japan, UK, Schengen Convention countries, Australia or New Zealand, are eligible for the visa exemption program, which permits a duration of stay for up to 30 days.
There will be 16 partaking airline carriers, which regularly service the Taipei route like Cebu Pacific Air, China Airlines, Eva Air, Philippine Airlines, Jeron Travel & Tours Corporation, Pan Pacific Travel Corporation, Canadian Travel, North Star International Travel Inc., Las Palmas Travel, Renaissance Travel & Tours Inc., Uni-Orient Travel, Inc., Everbright Travel & Tours, Inc., Travel Warehouse, Inc., Skynet Travel Corporation, Ark Travel Express Inc., and Interlink Travel. These airlines and travel agencies will help tourists discover the many surprises that Taiwan has to offer. The country is well known for its extraordinary attractions, hospitable citizens, colorful festivals and mouthwatering delicacies.
Taiwanese artists including the Grassroot Performing Troupe, Cash Magic, and M.H.D. Diabolo Art Taiwan will perform at the fair. There will also be a DIY station for handmade little steamed buns, painting whipping tops, imprinting leaves on towels, pressing flowers on paper fans, and cooking of the traditional flavor fish ball soup headed by the Taiwan Leisure Farm Development Association.
