MANILA, Philippines - Top officials of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), Clark Development Corp. (CDC) and the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) led the travel and tourism industry in opening the international conference on meetings, incentive travel, conventions and events/exhibitions (MICE) at the Clark Freeport in Pampanga last Thursday. Participating in the four-day M.I.C.E. Conference (MICECON) 2014 are foreign buyers from Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, the United States and Vietnam, all poised for a first-hand experience of the country’s tourism brand statement ‘It’s more fun in the Philippines.’ Shown during the MICECON 2014 opening rites are (from left) CDC chairman Eliseo Santiago, BCDA president and chief executive officer Arnel Paciano Casanova, CDC president and chief executive officer Arthur Tugade, Tourism Undersecretary Maria Victoria Jasmin, TPB board member Fe Panlilio, and TPB chief operating officer Domingo Ramon Enerio III.
