Known as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines," Baguio is still one of the top destinations for tourist and local travelers with its cold climate and beautiful scenery suited for families and couples.
Burnham Park, named after American architect and urban planner Daniel Hudson Burnham, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Baguio. Visitors can go boat riding while they appreciate the beauty of the place. The Athletics Bowl, where Panagbenga Festival's performances are usually held, is also located at Burnham Park. The said festival, which is staged every February, features artistic arrangement of flowers and lively parades.
The official summer residence of the President of the Philippines, "The Mansion," is also located in Baguio. Tourist and locals are allowed to take photos but only from a distance. A botanical garden can be found within the area, featuring different plants labeled with their respective scientific names.
Additionally, Mines View gives tourists a bird’s eye view of the city's breathtaking beauty.
