'The best beach two hours from Metro Manila'

The relaxing sound of the sea caressing the light brown sandy beach; the warmth of a bonfire amidst the cool sea breeze; the sight of the full moon and a near-cloudless sky revealing the constellations above. These are a few of the wonderful things you'd experience staying even just one night at Montemar in Bagac, Bataan.
My friends and I spent a weekend there and I can say that it probably has the best beach two hours away from Metro Manila.
The service was good and the food was excellent (must try: the Turon de leche flan), and there was the added perk of us being there in time for the release of more than 100 hatchling sea turtles back into the sea!
It was a really fun experience and it was well worth the 33 kilometers my friends and I biked to get there (plugging Philippine Bike Tours, check ‘em out on Facebook!).
I'm definitely looking forward to going back there soon!
