MANILA, Philippines - Here’s a fine dining experience not to be missed. From Aug. 15 to 21, InterContinental Manila’s renowned Prince Albert Rotisserie will offer a special a la carte menu of truffle-enhanced dishes for lunch and dinner in addition to its classic favorites.
Truffles are rare kinds of mushrooms that are harvested in the wild. They are considered a delicacy for the distinct aroma and fine subtle taste that they bestow on food.
Highly recommended by Prince Albert’s culinary team are Truffled Duck Liver with Quince Paste, Toasted Brioche and Pear, Arugula and Walnut Salad; Tagliatelle with Black Truffle, Asparagus, Morels and Pecorino; Porcini Risotto with Provolone Cheese and Shaved Black Truffle; Steamed Salmon and Sea Bass on Buttered Leaf Spinach with Champagne Truffle Cream and Baguio Potatoes; and Grilled UB Beef Tenderloin with Truffle Butter, Brown Mushrooms and Garlic Confit Mashed Potatoes.
Prince Albert Rotisserie is open for lunch from Monday to Friday, noon to 2:30 p.m., and for dinner from Monday to Saturday, 7 to 10:30 p.m.
