Eastwood Café offers Weekend Family Buffet
MANILA, Philippines - If filling your summer days with activities the entire family will enjoy is getting to be a challenge, then bring the folk and the kids to Eastwood Richmonde Hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, the Eastwood Café, and have a delectable yet affordable feast that everyone will love.
For all weekends of April, May and June, Eastwood Café pays homage to the summer sun and brings a delightful Weekend Family Buffet packed with items to satisfy dad’s craving for hot-off-the-grill meats; mom’s fondness for healthy hot pot; the grandparents’ love of native delicacies; and the kids’ wish for unlimited sweets, all for just P880 nett.
At the grilling station, take your pick of beef, chicken, pork or fish, and an array of sauces to complement your choice of meat, cooked just the way you like it. The carving station features Executive Chef Pat Obia’s signature specialty, Crispy Pork Lechon, that goes well with the café’s specially concocted liver sauce.
Despite the hot weather, a steaming bowl of flavorful Chinese hot pot filled with your favorite ingredients will still be a welcome treat. Be sure to make room for Oriental favorites like Mongolian Barbecue, Japanese Tempura, and Chinese Dimsum, plus other international selections.
The kids will surely have a blast at the Kids’ Food Corner where child-friendly items are served — from spaghetti to carbonara, southern fried chicken to hotdogs. And to thrill the young ones and the young at heart even more, there is a candy buffet loaded with all kinds of sugary creations.
At the dessert station, Eastwood Café serves up a medley of yummy native delicacies like Leche Flan, Cassava Cake, Palitaw, Maja Mais, and Ginataang Bilo-Bilo, including an assortment of fresh local fruits such as chico, star apple, banana señorita, pineapple, and watermelon.
To quell the weather’s rising temperature, have a scoop or two of ice cream or make your own halo-halo. The buffet also comes with unlimited rounds of cool and refreshing flavored iced tea, which goes well with the festive summer spread.
To keep the little ones entertained, Eastwood Café sets up a kiddie play and activity area inside the restaurant where they can do arts and crafts, watch cartoons or take part in the hands-on demo for decorating donuts and cookies, done every hour.
Eastwood Café’s Weekend Family Buffet is available for lunch and dinner every Saturday and Sunday, from April to June. Buffet is priced at P880 nett for adults, P440 nett for children aged six to 12; toddlers aged five and below get to eat for free.
