MANILA, Philippines - Flying to London is more comfortable on an Airbus 380, the world’s largest commercial aircraft, with two decks and seating for 494.
Malaysia Airlines (MAS) launched its daily A380 direct service from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to London’s Heathrow on July 1 this year. The flight leaves KLIA late in the evening and arrives in London in the morning after a flight of about 14 hours.
Earlier this month MAS launched its second daily flight on the KL-London route, this time taking off in the morning and arriving in London at night.
Travelers from Manila can either take the MAS afternoon flight to KL and transfer to the A380 after a brief layover. Or they can break the long travel time by resting overnight at the KLIA Airport Hotel, so they can be relaxed for the long-haul flight.
