CCCI Tourism Awardees

MANILA, Philippines - The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) recently awarded the Grand Tourism Award to Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia (fifth from left) for her Suroy Suroy Sugbo countryside tourism program. Awarded as Tourism Men of the Year were Jay Aldeguer (second from left) of Island Souvenirs, and Republic of Latvia Consul General Bobby Joseph (fourth from left) for their valuable advocacies and sustainable local and national tourism efforts. Agnes Magpale, and CCCI president Prudencio Gesta. Over 700 guests from the business sector, government and academe, and students attended the one-day tourism congress.
