Tutuban Commercial Center turns 23
MANILA, Philippines - The country’s acknowledged bargain haven, Tutuban Center, celebrated its 23rd anniversary on Tuesday with lots of fun and excitement as it trekked its path toward redevelopment and expansion.
The celebration kicked off with a mall-wide parade participated in by Tutuban employees, tenants, business associates, and guests.
The morning parade was followed by a mini-program highlighted by an Ati-Atihan street–dance presentation. Surprise gifts and prizes awaited all attendees. Brunch was served after the event.
The day was capped by a grand Anniversary Show and Concert. Celebrity guests and Tutuban Idol winners provided entertainment for all loyal patrons. Fireworks display literally added spark and glitter to the celebration.
As it begins its 24th year, the Centermall building will already be Wi-Fi ready for all its tech-savvy patrons. Renovation activities have commenced in the Cluster building. And soon, other exciting and new components in Tutuban Center will rise amid its all-time winners like the year-round Night Market and the “Oh! My Gown” bargain concept.
