MANILA, Philippines - Five Philippine high school students sponsored by the Japanese Ministry of Education & Culture (MONKASHO) and Youth for Understanding (YFU) Japan Inc. and YFU/Philippines, left for Japan early this week (Jan. 25). Along with their counterparts from Korea, China and India, these students will undergo a language, study and homestay program for 28 days. They will return to the Philippines on Feb. 18. Kyla  Cabatit from Miriam College, Luisa Gamboa from De La Salle  Zobel School, Katrina  Garcia from  Saint Pedro Poveda College, Mia Santos from De La Salle  Zobel School and Nicko De Guzman from Philippine High School for the Arts.
