Airphil Express gives typhoon victims a free 'lift'

MANILA, Philippines - Airphil Express, the country’s fastest growing budget airline, came to the aid of typhoon victims recently by airlifting a total of 65 tons of water, clothes and food as part of relief efforts for Cagayan De Oro and Iligan City last year. The relief goods were transported free of charge, and were coordinated through the company’s 24/7 Domestic Cargo Office located along Domestic Road in Pasay City.

Typhoon Sendong left over 600 people dead and hundreds more still missing. It has so moved the company that they have since offered to give assistance in terms of free shipping to NGOs and other organizations who still wish to send goods and donations to the typhoon-affected areas.
