Welcome the 'Dragon' at Crowne Plaza
MANILA, Philippines - Breathe fire into Chinese New Year festivities at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria on Jan. 23.
The hotel’s signature Chinese restaurant, Xin Tian Di comes alive in resplendent red hues to herald the Year of the Dragon. Chinese Executive Chef Sam Lee will be introducing Hong Kong’s famed lucky specialty, the Braised Mini Whole Abalone with Dried Scallop in Melon Ring.
Mark the beginning of the celebration with the traditional lion and dragon dance performance that will make its way around the hotel at 11 a.m., and then move the celebration to Xin Tian Di.
Crowne Plaza will be giving away angpao or red envelopes with “Lucky Crowne Plaza Peso” for every P2,000 consumed at Xin Tian Di. At Seven Corners, diners will get P100 worth of Crowne Plaza Peso voucher, which may be used in the next dining occasion or in purchasing Chinese New Year goodies.
