MANILA, Philippines - Manila Hotel recently hosted a special dinner at the Champagne Room to refresh the guests’ memory on the unforgettable elegance of French dining.
Several of the country’s food connoisseurs and prominent personalities were treated to a one-of-a-kind gastronomic indulgence.
Executive Sous Chef Christine Zarandin prepared a special eight-course menu which included seared foie gras, seared scallop with truffle and wild mushroom cream, house-smoked duck with salade césar, and mascarpone cheese soufflé for dessert.
Among the guests were former congressman Teddyboy Locsin, Claude Tayag, Tim Abejuela, Monique Siguion-Reyna Villonco, Marites Vitug, STAR associate editor Marichu Villanueva, and Mickey Fenix.
