MANILA, Philippines - Sofitel Philippine Plaza is the official hotel of the 50th Orient and Southeast Asian (OSEAL) Forum by the Lions Club, to take place on Nov. 24 to 27 at the SMX Convention Center.
The forum returns to Manila where the first Asian Forum was held in 1957, for its golden anniversary.
The OSEAL Forum is expected to generate revenues of $10 million for the local economy, apart from the many CSR projects taking place during the event.
Sofitel general manager Goran Aleks said, “We are honored to be hosting the Lions Club during this momentous occasion, which will most certainly help stimulate tourism revenues for the country.”
“The Philippines is the perfect venue for both regional and global MICE events, and we shall exert best efforts to ensure a meaningful and enjoyable Manila meeting of the OSEAL Forum,” Aleks added.
