Enchanted Kingdom makes kids' wishes come true

-

MANILA, Philippines – Enchanted Kingdom shared the magic and turned many children’s wishes into a reality last Dec. 21 in a gift-giving event held for victims of tropical storm “Ondoy.”

The event, dubbed as EK’s Make An Enchanting Wish Come True, was spearheaded by EK’s VP for sales and marketing Cynthia Mamon.

A Mass was officiated to start off the program. Kids were then treated to a whole day of fun games, snacks, gift-giving, and a storytelling session led by Mamon herself.

“Enchanted Kingdom has always been at the helm in giving back to the community. Over the years, EK has consistently donated funds for the needy and underprivileged children,” Mamon said.

Children living in resettlement areas from all over Laguna Bae, Cabuyao, Calamba, Sta. Rosa, and Los Baños were asked individually what their Christmas wishes were.

While most children would wish for toys, a six-year-old girl from Cabuyao, Violy Villagonza, wished for medicine for her bedridden grandmother. EK surely made a way for a simple wish to come true. The grateful girl could not find the words to thank Enchanted Kingdom as she received her Christmas gift.

Enchanted Kingdom has always believed in giving back to the community. In line with its corporate social responsibility campaign, it partnered with like-minded groups and personalities to make the children’s visit extra memorable.

Donors included Dunkin Donuts, Cotton Candy, Pizza Hut, Hotshots, San Miguel, Selecta, Thumbs Up, Vamsler, Careline, Ever Bilena, Noose Footwear, Mayor Arlene Arcillas Nazareno of Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Myrna Yao of Barbie Philippines, and Marvie Lim and family.
