MANILA, Philippines – Despite several journeys to Laguna, Inscribe Tours keeps going back to this province, exploring new destinations and creating new experiences that, when woven together, become a fascinating story.
On Nov. 6, Inscribe Tours will take participants on another journey to this charming southern Tagalog province.
“Enchanting Laguna” starts at Villa Socorro Farm Resort in Pagsanjan where participants will do a short nature trek to the riverside, enjoy native breakfast of daing na bia, for example, and go home with some of the Eco-Ville’s fresh harvests. Next destination is Kape Kesada in Paete, a restaurant-cum-gallery that showcases works of local artists. Lunch with unique dishes like bibingkang hipon and minanok awaits participants who may go around the shops for items made by Paete’s famous craftsmen.
From Paete, the tour goes to Los Banos. At Caffelina, a local entrepreneur will share with participants the wonders of rice bran, the raw material for Oryspa brand products, as well as the many uses and applications of the humble water lily. A refreshing walk around the garden where ornamental plants and herbs are grown is a must before sitting down to a merienda of buko pie and pan de sal with kesong puti, among others.
